Raised vehicle on lift and removed wheels to inspect brakes, rear brake linings currently less than 1mm and rear brake rotors at discard limit, recommend replacing. Front brake pads at approx 4mm lining remaining, replacement likely necessary in near future.

    • Belt missing. water pump pulley loose, also no coolant in cooling system. Drove vehicle in parking lot to verify that there are no obvious engine miss/misfiring; ok. Belt idler pulley noisy, recommend to replace also. RECOMMEND TO REPLACE WATER PUMP, THERMOSTAT, IDLER PULLEY AND DRIVE BELT.
    • All brakes approximately 5-6mm; 50% remaining.
    • WATER PUMP – Remove and Replace – V8,4.7L Eng
    • THERMOSTAT and /OR GASKET – Remove and Replace – V8,4.7L Eng

    • Clutch hydraulic fluid is black in color and appears very thick, no clutch hydraulic components appear to be leaking currently. Recommend flushing out system, replenish with new fluid and vent system of potential air, Perform fluid flush twice to remove residual fluid , system now performs as per design and intent .

    • Vehicle will not crank, also remote central locking inoperative, no locking or unlocking. Check vehicle four trouble codes; P2071-8 (start enable not sent to engine module; Drive authorization). Perform electrical test for drive authorization; CAN C, power supply and ground signal ok to Security Key Remote Electronic Entry Module; Perform hard reset disconnect to module and found that vehicle will now start up; module has intermittent electronic malfunction. Note* If problem persists, then it is recommended to replace theSecurity Key Remote Electronic Entry Module and program. Cleared all trouble codes. Vehicle starting operation normal after reset of Security Key Remote Electronic Entry Module and central locking now working also.
    • 1) Left side valve cover leaking; recommend to reseal both side valve cover gaskets. 2) Ask client about vehicle service history; transmission service, brake flush, coolant flush, spark plugs, etc.
