TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM SENSORS – ACTIVATE WATER DEFLECTOR – CLEAN – [Clean visible area of water deflector.] BRAKE FLUID – INSPECT – [In the event of fluid loss, determine cause and perform repair.] BRAKE SYSTEM – INSPECT – [Visually check condition of brake pads/linings, condition of brake disks.] COOLANT LEVEL – INSPECT – [Check coolant level in coolant expansion tank.] HORN OPERATION – INSPECT – [Check horn for correct function.] PARKING BRAKE – INSPECT – [Function test only: Vehicles with 4MATIC: If brake test is carried out on a dynamometer, the brake test may not exceed 10 seconds on each axle. You could otherwise damage the drive train or the brake system.] TIRES – INSPECT – [Correct tire inflation pressure, Correct inflation pressure in spare tire (where applicable). Check TIREFIT sealant expiration date (where applicable). If expired, replace it. Activate Tire Pressure Monitoring System.] TRUNK LIGHTING – INSPECT – [Check trunk/cargo compartment lighting for correct function.] VEHICLE – INSPECT – [Check vehicle's exterior for damage in visible area.] WARNING & INDICATOR LAMPS – INSPECT – [Inspect warning and function indicator lamps in the instrument cluster. Check illumination of the instrument cluster and interior lighting for correct function.] WINDSHIELD – INSPECT – [Check for damage.] ENGINE OIL – REPLACE ENGINE OIL FILTER – REPLACE SERVICE INTERVAL INDICATOR/DISPLAY – RESET – [Read out service data from instrument cluster and reset ASSYST PLUS service interval display. If the service/maintenance work has not, or has only partially been carried out after the ASSYST PLUS service interval display has been reset, the maintenance computer must be reset to its original settings.]

    • Connected scan tool to vehicle, checked for available fault codes, 2 codes found: P014000 – signal of downstream oxygen sensor does not change, and P014100 – heater for downstream oxygen sensor has an electrical fault. Inspected wiring to sensor, all appears in good condition, recommend replacing downstream oxygen sensor and verify sensor operation after repairs
    • 1. Rear brake pads and rotors approaching discard limits, recommend replacing 2. Brake fluid slightly discolored, fluid renewal due every 2 years per MB service sheet, recommend performing brake fluid service 3. Front left side suspension air strut does have a damaged bellows but seems to hold air okay and suspension appears to be even left to right. Tire does appear to have more wear at inner tread of left front tire. Recommend performing wheel alignment to determine if possibly bent components may be causing tire wear.
    • Replaced downstream oxygen sensor, cleared fault codes, and road tested vehicle. Oxygen sensor appears to read normally at this time, check engine light does not return

    • Removed incorrect lug bolts and found that the threads in the wheel hub wee minimally damaged. We were able to chase and clean the threaded bores with a Tap thread tool of the same size and pitch. We replaced all of the damaged Lug Bolts (5). We also replaced the damaged center wheel cap.

    • ) Lt/Rear tire worn on inside edge and separating on inner sidewall; Recommend new Lt/Rear tire. ) Brake fluid Dirty ; Recommend flush – $139. ) Cabin filter dirty – $87. ) Engine Oil Centrifuge cover and camshaft rear cover plugs leaking. Recommend Replacement – $350. ) Engine mounts and Transmission mount worn/collapsed ; Recommend replace – $965. ) Spare Tire valve leaking, will not hold air. Recommend replace spare tire valve – $35. ) Trunk will only open with blade key. Needs Rear Trunk Latch. ) Lt/frt guide arm fixed joint boot torn/leaking; Both front guide arm bushings cracked/leaking. Both side spring link control arm bushings broken with Rt/side bushing contacting tabs of front subframe. Also, Both front sway bar link rods boots are torn/leaking. ,,, Recommend to replace both side complete guide arms and replace bushings for both side spring link arms. Replace both front sway bar links. ,,, And perform wheel alignment – $1860. ) Ask client regarding previous service history; Transmission service 60k – $457; Spark plug replacement 100k – $351; Differential service 100k – $117; brake flush 2 yrs – $139;
    • Check Vehicle for Trouble Codes ; Engines = > 0970 (Tank pressure sensor diagnosis ; Short circuit to ground, p0452 ,,, Stored), > 0954 (Mechanical defect or component VP321, activated charcoal canister shut off valve, permanently closed, p2422 ,,, Mil On ; Stored & Current). Recommend replace Charcoal Canister Shut Off Valve, then retest Evap System.
    • EVAPORATION CONTROL CANISTER VENT VALVE – Remove & Replace, Clear codes and retest EVAP System.
    • RIGHT SIDE CONTROL ARM BUSHING – Remove & Replace – Lower, Right Sides- [DOES NOT include alignment.]

    • Performed fuel tank leak test via scan tool, found when test performed unable to reach targeted vacuum on system. Smoke tested system to inspect for potential leaks in fuel system, found charcoal canister vent valve is not closing causing large leak in system. Installed new vent valve at charcoal canister and retested system, no further leaks found. Recommend replacing charcoal canister vent valve to remedy
    • FUEL TANK VENT VALVE – Remove & Replace
    • Slight bearing type noise heard at belt tensioner pulley. Also there is a slight wobble from the harmonic balancer pulley, all appears okay at this time
    • 1. Excessive engine oil from engine, appears to be residual from valve covers which were recently resealed. Recommend cleaning as much residual oil as possible and monitor leak. 2. Brake pad warning coming on dash, rear brake wear sensor currently causing light, recommend replacing 3. Front left side fender liner front section missing from vehicle, front right side is present but has slight damage from contacting tire, recommend replacing liners 4. Systems battery weak, failed battery test, recommend replacing 5. Power steering pump leaks, recommend replacing 6. Front suspension bushings at lower and upper control arms are tearing/cracking and making noise, recommend replacing bushings and perform wheel alignment 7. Recommend all fluid services, check service history for vehicle if available 8. Right front seat switch forward/back adjustment piece is broken off, recommend replacing seat switch 9. Right side a/c vent at dash is missing, recommend replacing
    • Engine coolant tank appears to have crack in plastic at bottom mounting point of tank allowing coolant to seep out slowly and buildup at back side of tank, recommend replacing coolant expansion tank
    • RADIATOR RESERVE TANK – Remove & Replace
    • Found alternator assembly is not charging vehicle, no warnings found at cluster. Tested alternator and found no output, recommend replacing
    • ALTERNATOR ASSEMBLY – Remove & Replace – [Includes: Test.]/// Install Supplied Part
