Services Performed
- Road tested vehicle, found after driven for few minutes coolant temp will slowly climb towards 120deg C but when moving temp will come back down to approx 110deg C. Verified engine fan working and good flow of cooling system, installed known good thermostat, found condition remains the same. Determined radiator restricted with calcium build up, recommend flushing and check cooling system operation
- Flushed cooling system, also back flushing radiator assembly. Road tested vehicle after, found cooling system still rises in temp to approx 120deg C but takes much longer and temp comes down to approx 100deg C when vehicle moving. Cooling is working better but still not allowing coolant to flow through all passages of radiator to properly cool, recommend replacing radiator assembly
- Replaced radiator with client supplied part, cooling system is operating normally at this time
- Synthetic Engine Oil Change
