Services Performed
- Connected scan tool to vehicle, checked for available fault codes, 2 codes found: 1. P2001 – malfunction of exhaust gas recirlulation, and 2. P2069 – Fault stored in transmission module(P2502 – gear is implausible or transmission is slipping). Inspected EGR system, found vacuum hose to diaphram of EGR valve deteriorating and starting to leak, and vacuum hose to MAP sensor also deteriorating and breaking apart. Replaced all vacuum hoses to intake manifold(egr, secondary air, and map sensor), tested egr valve with actuation via scan tool, egr system working normally. Checked transmission fluid level for transmission slipping fault code, found transmission approximately 1.5qts low on fluid. Added 1.5qts atf to transmission and road tested vehicle, transmission shifts normally at this time
- 1. 3rd brake light assembly does not work, recommend replacing 2. Transmission fluid leaks at shift shaft seal and shift interlock/parking pawl seals as well as pan appears to leak, recommend resealing/servicing 3. Engine/transmission mounts worn/collapsed causing vibration, recommend replacing 4. Turn signal switches left and right will not stay in position when actuated, must hold in position by hand to stay on, recommend installing new combination switch assembly to remedy
