- Check Vehicle for Trouble Codes ; Engines = > 0064 (Continuous camshaft adjustment, Left ;Incorrect position of the exhaust camshaft, P0025), > 0750 (Self adaptation of mixture formation for enleanment at idle for the left cylinder bank is below the permissible limit, P0175), > 2096 (The mixture in the left cylinder bank is too rich when idling), > 0746 (Self adaptation of mixture formation for enleanment at idle for the right cylinder bank is below the permissible limit, P0172), > 2092 (The mixture in the right cylinder bank is too rich when idling). Check engine for any obvious vacuum leaks, loose/broken hoses ; etc. ; Found intake air filter housing loose and engine was drawing air past the air filter housing and filters. Resecured Air Filter Housing and cleared all trouble codes. Road test vehicle ; Mixture Adaptation values self corrected to nominal values ; no codes re-detected, and engine operation normal.
- RECOMMEND THE FOLLOWING REPAIRS > THRUST ARM BUSHINGS ON DRIVER SIDE AND PASSENGER SIDE TORN. RECOMMEND REPLACING BOTH ARMS. ALSO, SPRING ARM BUSHINGS ARE TORN ON DRIVER SIDE AND PASSENGER SIDE. RECOMMEND REPLACING BOTH ARMS AND FRONT SWAY BARK LINKS ARE ON BOTH SIDES. RECOMMEND REPLACING BUSHINGS AND SWAY BAR LINKS – $1444. > RUBBER CAM PLUGS ON BACK OF VALVE COVERS ARE LEAKING RECOMMEND RESEALING CAM PLUGS ALSO RECOMMEND REPLACING OIL SEPARATOR COVER – $401. > TURN SIGNAL BULB IN FRONT DRIVER SIDE HEADLIGHT IS OUT. RECOMMEND REPLACING BULB. ALSO, TURN SIGNAL ON MIRROR ASSEMBLY IS NOT OPERATIONAL. RECOMMEND REPLACING TURN SIGNAL LENS IN MIRROR HOUSING ; NEED TO CALL DEALER FOR PRICE AND AVAILABILITY OF LENS. > OIL PAN IS LEAKING, RECOMMEND REPLACING LOWER OIL PAN – $478. > ENGINE AIR FILTERS ARE DIRTY. RECOMMEND REPLACING BOTH FILTERS – $112. > REFRIGERANT LEVEL IS LOW AND THROWING A CODE. RECOMMEND DIAGNOSTIC TIME AND RECHARGE WITH DYE TO FIND LEAK – $159.
